this recipe is QUICK perfect for those nights you just don’t feel like cooking

I feel like everyone calls this recipe something different, but whichever one you call it, its typically made the same way.

Easy Pepper steak stir fry

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ½ Lb flank steak sliced into thin strips
  • 1 ½ large bell pepper (color of choice, I like to use the green ones) sliced
  • 7-8 cloves of garlic
  • 1 yellow onion sliced
  • 10 mushrooms sliced
  • 1 pkg Mccormick brown gravy
  • 1 cup water
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil

seasonings

  • salt
  • black pepper
  • garlic powder
  • soy sauce
  • ½ tsp dark soy optional

Instructions
 

  • tenderize the flank steak before slicing. once the meat is sliced season with the above seasonings then set aside
  • chop the garlic finely, then slice the onion, bell peppers & mushrooms
  • to you pan add 2 tbsp of oil and heat on medium high, once the pan is hot add in the flank steak and cook until the meat begins to show color on both sides (do not overcook the meat or it will end up being firm)
  • add the veggies all in at once and add a splash of soy sauce, put a lid on the pan and let cook on medium low for about 10 minutes
  • while that is cooking add water to a measuring cup and add the gravy package and mix well to combine
  • after the 10 minutes is up add the gravy and season to taste while the gravy begins to thicken and enjoy.
